About The Job

As a Videographer at HMBL you actively contribute to the affairs of our kick-ass motion picture production team: in the office, preparing our live shows, music videos, film, television and commercial projects. You will not be involved in PA or coffee work with us: you will have the opportunity to fully participate in our production team. The Responsibilities

• You're an operational thinker with a passion for Post Production and global (online) media productions.

• You’re allergic to average and have a great eye for detail: your workday doesn’t stop until the team can work with a healthy plan.

• You’re organized - double-checking is your middle name - you think in possibilities and always want to deliver solutions of the highest possible quality. As a born communicator, you love to keep everyone around you informed on the project plans.

• You’re a team player that loves to work with great structure. To reach the best results on each project, you work and communicate well under pressure, proactively involve others when necessary, and can swiftly come up with fitting solutions. You’re ambitious, eager to learn, and proactively ask for feedback on your work.

• You have a great sense of humor and a ‘’work hard, play hard’’ mentality. You’re able and willing to work outside of office hours when necessary (evenings and weekends).

• You will oversee the start of all projects from a Post Production perspective. This involves:

• Working with Marketing to anticipate and prepare for upcoming projects, and help them to quote the post pro work accurately.

• Creating provisional production schedules when this is needed early in the project, before a freelancer is onboard.

• You will execute projects with a ‘’shoot to edit’’ mindset that saves time and resources as you will positively get what you exactly want and not have any negative scenario.

The Requirements

• Ideally an degree in the area of film and/or editing

• Familiar with professional cameras & camcorders and their equipment & accessories

• Experience with Steadicam is a plus

• Extensive experience: you've built an inspiring portfolio with content that speaks for itself and you have at least 5 years experience. The ability to work in Premiere and After Effects is a must.

• Experience with sound design, color grading and graphics

• Creative thinker

• Get-the-job-done mentality that thrives under pressure

• Strong communication skills 

• Experience with creating animations (After Effects) is a plus

• Experience with Adobe software (Premiere Pro, Photoshop);
